LARGEST TURNOUT WE'VE EVER HAD!

Thank you SO MUCH for your support of Union County Crime Stoppers

Crime Stoppers 31st Annual BBQ -January 20th, 2023.

Crime Stoppers is an non-profit organization of citizens against crime in Union County, NC.

Did you know….?

The Annual BBQ is the only fund-raiser Union County Crime Stoppers holds each year.  The funds are used to provide cash rewards of up to $5,000 to individuals with information that leads to an arrest of someone responsible for a crime in Union County, North Carolina. The caller may remain anonymous when providing information. Cash rewards have resulted in persons being arrested for some of the most violent crimes in Union County.

Each year...

Union County Crime Stoppers gets excited for its Annual BBQ. The 2023 BBQ was held on Friday, January 20th, 2023 from 11:00am - 6:00pm at the Union County Agricultural Center. This was the largest turnout we've ever had..

Thank You to our Volunteers

Union County Crime Stoppers is a 501(c)3 organization operating solely by volunteers. There are no paid employees.

They began days ahead to make sure everything is purchased and set up ready to go the day of the barbeque. They came a day prior to begin preparing and setting up. On the morning of the event they showed up early to get everything ready to go out the door by lunch time. There were also teams of law enforcement officers delivering take-out meals to area businesses who couldn't come it to the Ag Center for lunch.

We couldn't do it without all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the event a success!

Thank you to all the people who helped prepare fantastic pork and turkey:  Rodney Pierce, Shane Green, Phillip Pressley, Gordan Gamble, Robby Box, Emory Altman, and several others.

Special thank you the Union County Sheriff's Office, Monroe, and many more community members who gave time and energy making the Union County Crime Stoppers' BBQ the best one yet!
